André Wright
Marketing Analytics & Data Science Team Lead – MarketingI'm André and I'm excited to be part of the mission to help conserve land and protect thousands of species!
My family and I love to explore and travel which is probably why across my career, working in various data science and analytics roles, I seem to always find myself gravitating back to travel organisations.
I have previously worked at UK companies such as Trainline, Zoopla and Giffgaff and global companies such as Expedia and Travelzoo. I really enjoy solving complex business problems with data and turning them into actionable and material solutions, so I am excited to dive in and figure out how we can supercharge our consumer growth here at Wilderness.
Outside of work, you may find me at a local athletics track, playing chess, exploring new places with my wife and trying to keep up with our 3 kids.

About Wilderness Journeys
Over 40 years ago in Botswana, two passionate guides fell in love with Africa’s wilderness. They set about creating opportunities for guests to immerse themselves in, and make an impact on, Africa’s wild places. First in Botswana, then Namibia and South Africa. followed by Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania. Today, we are proud to be a global collective helping to conserve the world’s iconic wilderness areas.
Our UK division, UKAMA and later rebranded to Wilderness Journeys, was founded in 2019. Wilderness exists to make sure the world will always have a version of its iconic wild places that is unfenced, untamed and unpredictable. It’s not our reputation as one of the first, or the largest, in the conservation tourism space that makes us Wilderness. It’s our determined push to keep going. To keep protecting, exploring and expanding Earth’s ultimate, untamed places. And then to bring guests to discover the beating pulse of each one.
